Closing

After the underwriter has approved your loan, a date and time will be set for closing. Your mortgage broker from One Stop Mortgage will let you know the exact figures concerning the money you must bring to closing - or the money you will be getting back.

The closing is where you sign various papers, giving the lender a mortgage on your property, getting the money to pay the seller or bank in case of a refinance, and promising to pay the money back.

If you have a Realtor, he or she will almost certainly be with you during the closing to answer any questions. In addition, your mortgage broker from One Stop Mortgage will be present to assure that the closing is simple and smooth.

Funding of the loan generally occurs three days after closing.
